Robert Kaufman, Ph.D. has been affiliated with Bonora D’Andrea, LLC since the founding of the firm. With over 15 years in forensic psychology, Dr. Kaufman has significant experience in civil actions (personal injury, employment, complex business litigation, and environmental coverage), criminal cases, and family law matters, making him an invaluable member of our team. His extensive work as an expert witness, combined with his trial consulting experience, puts him in a unique position to assist attorneys preparing witnesses for trial.
Dr. Kaufman has taught at several Bay Area graduate schools, including UC Berkeley, The Wright Institute and Alliant International University. He regularly addresses professional organizations on the interface between psychological issues and the legal system, having presented to local bar associations and groups such as the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts (AFCC) and the Association of Trial Lawyers of America (ATLA). Dr. Kaufman is a Fellow of the Society for Personality Assessment and is on the Board of Directors of the Family and Children's Law Center in Marin County.
